I've been stuck for two weeks inside the Pilf compound, staring out the window, hoping to escape. I'm not sick, nor quarantined, nor constrained by any physical reasons. Rather, I'm stuck at home because I can't afford to put gas in my truck, Newt. It's a GMC Jimmy that I modified to get less miles per gallon. It might seem like a dumb move now but at the time I was concerned about BP following the oil spill and wanted to support them as much as possible. But now, with gas prices going through the roof, I'm starting to regret my decision. I've heard that the increasing prices are due to the fighting that's going on over in Libya, even though I've also heard that we get very little of our oil from Libya. So what gives? I don't know the answer but I'm sure the oil companies have a good reason. It's not as if they would lie to us. Regardless, I think it's about time Libya got over itself and stopped fighting so that good Americans like myself can get back to doing what we do best; driving around aimlessly.
